CITY SCOUTS (2026)

Scenographic installation activated through urban play at De Nijverheid, Utrecht

City Scouts is a playful intervention about caring for urban environments and their inhabitants together as a new kind of scouting group. Drawing from LARPs and speculative design, this work explores pervasive play and worlding not as a form of pretending, but as a form of practicing.

During this experience, participants worked together to learn new ways of w(o)andering about the city and earn a badge to track your skills. After their exploration, the group deep maps their environment by placing a flag with their findings using an existing category in the legend or by adding a new one.

MUSEUM OF LOST ECOLOGIES
M.O.L.E. (2025-ongoing)

with Celestína Minichová

A LARP exploring potentially disappearing ecologies and non-human narritives/narrators through role-playing in a site-specific setting.
M.O.L.E. is an artistic research project into connection with the other, the non-human, the beyond-human. Narratives found through site and relics we create, worlds co-created by participants through (role) play.

The Museum Of Lost Ecologies is a LARP framework that utilises the collection of impressions of environments we take for granted in an attempt to stand with them.

COME FIND ME (2025)

Leporello booklets with various shapes cut out of them
‘Come find me’ is a pervasive game which inspires a better understanding and awareness of space through different sensorial focus point. It consists of leporello booklets which have different shapes cut out of them. The game can be done alone or by use of a tour guide using one simple instruction:

“Find points of interest using one shape at a time during the tour”

By playing with/in public space, we subvert its rules. A seemingly uninteresting car garage can transform into a playground. This friction is theessence of the playful intervention I create.

CYBERWITCHES OF SILICON(E)
VALLEY (2024)

with Oonagh Shaw

An XR installation exploring where participants are initiated into a cyberwitch coven
Two witchy sisters lost between worlds call upon the help of participants to traverse the cyber planes in search of their lost red heel. Through communal worlding and a vocal fry cacophony, a portal is opened and directions can be given to the bravest soul who dares to enter the cyber planes through the scrying goggles...

THE GARDEN (2023)

Installation with ceramics, EVA foam, wool, wood, drawings, and blown glass at Rijksmuseum Twenthe
The Garden functions as an interactive decor that explores the human tendency to create hierarchy between living beings, which always ends up putting their own needs first.

How do we engage in less anthropocentric relationships with for example rocks, plants, and insects? Are we more caring towards that which looks, feels, acts like us?

The Garden is protected by the Guardian, a guiding figure that enchants museumgoers to visit their world and reconsider there relationship with non-humans.
